Inspired by an 1800’s crewel embroidery piece. Made with the blanket-stitched raw-edge fusible machine applique technique. Machine quilted. Decorative stitches create the trim for the narrow borders. Awards: Best Miniature AQS 2008. In the collection of the National Quilt Museum.
